As a community, we're often told that our love is wrong, that it's not 'normal' or 'acceptable.' But I say, who are they to dictate how we should live our lives? Love is love, and it's time we start celebrating it. And what better way to celebrate than by hitting the open road on an electric bike?
There's something about the wind in your hair, the sun on your face, and the rush of adrenaline as you pick up speed that just can't be replicated. And when you're with the one you love, it's like the whole world has come alive. We don't need anyone else's permission to experience this kind of joy – we just need each other.
We're not just fighting for our right to love – we're also fighting for representation. We need more women, especially queer women of color, in the cycling community. It's time we take up space and show the world that we deserve to be seen and heard.
